Day 17 - Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur is such a great place.  Let me show you why.

A partially finished building.

Another semi-building.

A giant semi-finished building.
The entire city is under construction!  Everyone likes new things.  Based on the number of construction workers I saw today, I think all the new buildings will be complete by 2082.

In addition to buildings, Kuala Lumpur has other semi-finished infrastructure items of note.

Here we have a mostly completed bus stop!

This sidewalk is also partially done.
See?  Kuala Lumpur is great!  There are so many things half-built.  It shows the government's commitment to progress.

An effective waste disposal system.
This is part of the Citizen Alertness System.
Kuala Lumpur effectively disposes of trash by moving it from the dining areas and placing it in the street.  This way, diners do not fall ill from mixing garbage and food.  Very smart.  Excess garbage is also placed on sidewalks to ensure citizens stay mentally alert while walking.

Dental surgery is available here.

Why is a tree growing through the roof?
Kuala Lumpur has state-of-the-art medical centers offering advanced procedures like dental surgery as you can see above.  They also have very nice colonial buildings that have not been cleaned since they were constructed.  This ensures authenticity.

Cebu offers great deals and 90% of flights arrive at the destination safely.
Malaysia has travel agents offering vacations for a great value.  Many of them feature Cebu Pacific, which uses planes recently acquired from defunct Russian airlines.  You can have a wonderful experience flying on a Soviet-era Antonov An-10 from 1959!
It's like being at home.
Kuala Lumpur really knows how to make you feel at home.  After looking at this bus, I can hardly tell that I'm not in Texas.

No Texas Tech hats allowed.
Kuala Lumpur firmly supports the Texas Longhorns and will not allow Americans from Lubbock into the country.  As you can see the picture above, Texas Tech ballcaps are strictly banned.
As you can see, Kuala Lumpur is going to be one of the world's greatest cities very shortly.  It's too bad that I have to leave tomorrow.
